Every Young Person Deserves a Path Forward
Structured residential care, therapeutic support, and life-skill development for at-risk youth; serving Southern California since 1993.
At Humanistic Foundation Incorporated, we believe every young person, regardless of their past, has the inherent right to grow, heal, and thrive. We operate licensed residential treatment facilities across Los Angeles and Bakersfield, California, providing 24-hour therapeutic environments where youth ages 11 to 21 can overcome barriers and build the confidence and skills they need for life.
Our Mission
A Safe Place to Heal. A Strong Foundation to Grow.
Our mission is to provide a safe, clean, nurturing, supportive, and structured environment for minors, a place where they can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and life skills.
We work with dependent and non-minor dependent males between the ages of 11 and 21, offering individualized treatment plans built on cognitive behavioral principles. Our goal is always the same: to reunify families and give every young person the tools to succeed in life.
What We Do
A Whole-Person Approach to Youth Recovery

STRUCTURED RESIDENTIAL CARE
Our facilities provide a stable, home-like environment with 24-hour supervision from a multidisciplinary team of licensed professionals and youth development specialists.

INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT PLANS
Every resident receives a tailored treatment plan addressing their unique needs from substance abuse and low self-esteem to peer relationships and delinquency prevention.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY
Our evidence-based approach teaches youth cognitive strategies and social skills grounded in CBT, empowering them to manage emotions, make responsible choices, and build healthier habits.

FAMILY
REUNIFICATION
We actively encourage family involvement. Visits are supported both at our facilities and in family homes because lasting change happens within the family unit.

MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Through partnerships with the County of Los Angeles and Kern County, we provide access to social work, psychological services, and psychiatric treatment.

SCHOOL & DAILY LIVING SUPPORT
Residents receive education support, meals, clothing, and housing giving them the stability to focus on growth.
